Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for numbers and a passion for finance? We have an exciting opportunity for a Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team.
As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable process, ensuring that all invoices are accurately processed and paid in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1.
Managing the full cycle of accounts payable activities for multiple entities including receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
2.
Reviewing all vendor statements and addressing any discrepancies by liaising with vendors or internal departments.
3.
Preparing and executing payment runs, including cutting checks, and wire payments.
4.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date vendor files and account balances.
5.
Reconciling accounts payable transactions and preparing analysis of accounts as required.
6.
Assisting in month-end closing activities and providing support for internal and external audits.
7.
Utilizing financial software systems such as Sage and Concur to streamline and automate the accounts payable process.
8.
Collaborating with the finance team to improve AP processes and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, you must possess the following:
1.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable is required.
2.
Proficiency in financial software systems such as Sage and Concur is a plus.
3.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the accounts payable process, including reconciliations and check cutting.
4.
Excellent numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
5.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
6.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
7.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
